XPS13 9310 Re-enabling Hyperthreading
I recently disabled hyperthreading in the BIOS on my Dell XPS 13. I would like to re-enable it, however the BIOS seems to not allow me to do this. Every time, I click to enable it, it enables, but then when I click apply changes in the bios, it reverts back. This also happens for other settings, such as the amount of cores to use. Does anyone know why the setting keeps reverting back? Thanks very much!

Welcome to the Dell Community @brian783948
Make note of your SATA Operation then try setting the BIOS to "Default" settings.
As HT is enabled as default.
What version BIOS do you have installed???
Best regards,

Thanks for your reply. I have BIOS 3.0.4 - I just updated it to see if that was the issue, but no, same problem. I also tried putting everything back to default, which I thought should definitely work, but also doesn't. It seems like something is actively stopping it from turning on, which is strange because that is the only option I turned off last time I went to the BIOS.

Hi there, wasnt sure if you found a solution but Dell support got this one figured out for me. This was my solution but it was the 2 in 1 version of this laptop:
We suggest you to Reset Real Time Clock (RTC) to Recover Your Dell Laptop by following the instructions from the link http://del.ly/6604Jk0Wn and check how it works.
