<p>Management Systems Analyst retired in 2002 now living in Bolinas, CA doing volunteering, Nature walks and catching up on computer literacy.  I was recently given a Dell Inspiron 4100 for a small debt that someone owed me and I am attempting to save it from the computer graveyard.  Its a nice little machine but I can't understand why they would put out a Laptop without capability of outputing sound to anyhting but a set of speakers.</p> <p>BTW, I am using Windows XP on this machine.</p>
