Microsoft Store offers the Alienware FXDisplay (by DELL Inc) application for download. The description says: Alienware Monitor Center provides the ability to embedded Monitor Controls inside of Alienware Command Center.

Revo Uninstaller removed the existing persistently incomplete install of Dell's AWCC and OC Controls. After restart, Microsoft  Stores' Alienware FXDisplay was downloaded and installed. The recently added list did not include the Alienware FXDisplay, but the Alienware Command Center was listed. 

This was unexpected and it was necessary to not allow any updates for the FXDisplay (AWCC) tabs of HOME, LIBRARY, FX and FUSION to remain, but the FX tab could not be selected.  Looked in the Alienware folders, but the AWCC folder and AlienFX device applications were not installed. 

If the [Updates Available] box is activated, the four tabs are reduced to two tabs with the reappearance of the AWCC Warning: No supported AlienFX devices were detected.

The Laptop remains dark. 

Has anyone encountered a similar problem with Microsoft  Stores' Alienware FXDisplay?
