Retores- Best Practices
Hi,
I am new to the Avamar hope you can help me on here.
Admin guide says "Limit Restore with the web Restore interface to only a few Files", but don't state why. Can someone explain why..?

Hi,
Web restore of multiple files is limited to 1GB.
For multiple file restores, we first restore the files to the utility node or single node to a temporary location. We then zip it up and stream it to the client for download through apache. The reason for the 1GB limitation is so that we do not fill up the utility node / single node's space and cause the MCS to crash.
