Unable to see SQL Availability Group databases
Hi,
I've configured avamar and the sql agent for backing up a SQL2014 DAG on Windows 2012R2 but it seems i cannot see all my databases.
If i am taking a guess i can only see databases that do not appear in an availability group.
I saw another post that suggested i needed to add "NT AUTHORITY\SYSTEM" into the serveradmin server roles. I have done this and add the Domain Admin account that i used to install the cluster backup agents. I also changed the "Log on as" user for the service itself to my Domain Admin account.
I can open SQL Server Management Studio and browse and look at all the databases, availability groups, replicas and settings etc so not sure what i'm missing here.
I don't know much about SQL so it's very likely i just may be missing something somewhere.
*edit*
so i can only assume i've got a misconfiguration somewhere as when i browse my cluster clients in avamar i only see (local) databases and not the databaselistener\availability group
