single DM panic

My VSA is in a panicked state. I am unable gain access to the datamover.

/nas/sbin/getreason returns:
10 - slot_0 primary control station
7 - slot_2 panicked
4 - slot_2 configured
GRERR 00006: getreason error - 0x001A from box 4
GRERR 00006: getreason error - 0x001A from box 9

Thanks in advance

    Hi,

I 'll suggest to contact EMC Support ASAP, if not already done. Is this box configured with any Call Home? If yes, should have created a Service Request for you - but anyway, you may call the EMC Support.

We may provide some help on the forums - but since this is a data mover panic issue - you should engage Support to get timely support and bringing back the box online.

Also, I am not sure why the getreason is showing two data movers on slot_2 - how many data movers you have total?

BTW, Welcome to the EMC Support forums.
    Thanks,
    Sandip

Ahha - extremely sorry - did not see that the email alert for this post was coming from Simulator forum :(

koffin - sorry for the confusion - please ignore my earlier post. I am not an expert with Simulator - but I hope our Simulator Expert Jim or anyone else will help you out soon.

"dynanox" thanks a bunch for the correction :)

Its looking like I'm in data recovery mode with this. Is there anyway to get the data off the luns while its in a state of panic?
    Thoughts, ideas?

Well, '/' isn't full as it has over a gig left.

Unfortunately, I hadn't set up replication yet or any VCB schedule either.
