Boot Inspiron 5400AIO from USB Flash Drive
Does anyone have any idea how to boot a Inspiron 5400 All-In-One from a USB flash drive? If there are any instructions on the internet that I've missed please just post the URL. This has been a very difficult subject to find information on. Thank you very much in advance.

The 5400 AIO has a "bug" (or inconsiderate design choice) where the legacy boot option is not available. Many EUFI USB sticks will not be recognized and will not boot unless formatted with FAT32.
If (after turning off secure boot and enabling USB boot) the boot disk created by your tool is not recognized, try building an ISO instead, then using a tool like Rufus to create your bootable USB.
After hours of trying to get Minitool PDR to boot on a 5400, I built a boot ISO and made it into a bootable ISO using Rufus and it worked.

First, boot PC and open BIOS setup on the Inspiron 5400 AIO by tapping F2 when you see the Dell splash screen. Make sure the Enable Boot Support option is enabled. Don't change anything else in BIOS setup. Save the change to Boot Support, if any, and exit setup. PC will automatically boot to desktop.
Shut down normally in Windows (not a Restart). Plug the bootable USB into PC with power fully off. Power on and tap F12 when you see the splash screen to open the F12 menu. Select the option to boot from USB...
