Linux problem on g3 3779
I have a linux problem on my Dell G3 3779,i instaled linux mint 19.1 and ubuntu-mate 18.04.2 and on both my laptop bootloops,when linux ask to reboot,it reboots and it shuts down and repets. Do you guys have any ideas what it going on?

Guys does anyone have recovery iso for ubuntu? I installed Mint 19.1 but I always get black screen after login.... I also hoped it would be more Linux compatible since my last inspiron had no issues with Linux. Foolishly I didn't make a recovry iso.
- I think there is no dell recovery iso available. Maybe by requesting it from Dell, you can get it. My BIOS allows system recovery, the BIOS asks for the internet password and then tries to install Windows (xDDD... a complete disaster!!)
Have you tried installing a newer kernel? Try installing it from recovery mode (grub menu) or tty Dazdevnyak

I had an option to make it I just didn't since that laptop has no cdrom and i had no spare usb sticks. And honestly I expected it would run fine with linux and support would be better.There is no restore system disk available officially here (for windows there are bunch) either and support is polite but not at all useful.

An Ubuntu Dell G3 recovery image for Ubuntu 16.04 which was originally shipped with the system, seems to be available on their site as of Dec 2019, but without the wallpaper and other visual thrills !
