Vostro 3350 Intel 1030 Speed Issues

I purchased a Vostro 3350 not even a month ago, good laptop aside from a couple problems.

The current issue, which I noticed right when I got it is how slow the wireless N speeds are. It starts at over 2MB/s download and very rapidly drops even below 100KB/s. For the time being I switched it to G mode without looking further into the issue which makes it somewhat acceptable. Today after some searching this resolved my issue:

Essentially disabling the bluetooth adapter which is integrated on the wireless card gave the proper wireless N speeds back. (over 2MB/s now, internal probably faster). I don't know what kind of silly issue this is with the driver but basically I can't use bluetooth and wireless N at the same time.

I've also tried updating the driver, which yielded no success. I'm not using the intel wireless management utility and don't plan on it.
