I want to upgrade my RAM on my laptop Dell lattitude E6420. What I have learnt from net surfing that motherboard and CPU decide the upgradation cap. I have learnt that in my laptop mother board is 032T9K, upon looking its specification from Dell website it came to know it can support DDR2 ram up to 8GB, which doesn't seem correct to me as currently I have installed 2x 2GB-DDR3 RAM. my processor is corei7 which can support up to 16GB. 

So, I want to know up to how much RAM capacity I should go for update, my intention is to go for 2 X 8GB DDR3. is it compatible with my current laptop board and CPU? I can go for that i.e., 2 x 8GB-DDR3 Rams
