I'm trying to enable full-disk encryption on an XPS 13 laptop which shipped with Ubuntu. I tried both installing Ubuntu 14.04 and Ubuntu 16.04. In both cases, it says

"Sorry, an error occurred and it was not possible to install the bootloader at the specfied location."

I believe this is due to a bug in grub which makes it impossible to install Ubuntu on nvme drives. Are there any workarounds available?
