I'm new to owning an Alienware and very wrongly assumed it to be just a beefed up version of any other desktop. I received this computer from a friend who had other problems with it. I have been trying to FR it since I've gotten it and have tried AlienRespawn (hasn't actually done anything...) and used F8 at startup but there hasn't been any options other than System Restore (has two restore points from a few days ago) and System Repair I think that didn't have any options in it. I've heard from other forums and such that there should be an option under "Command Prompt" but there isn't. I'm not the most computer savvy so I'm not sure what I should post so I can be helped.

I have also gotten a blue screen a couple of times for 0x0000007F but I'm not sure at all what to do about it. I have run multiple memory diagnostics but they all came back empty-handed. Please help, I'll post additional information as requested.
