5.1 speaker problems!!

Hi i just purchased 5.1 phillips speakers and they were working fine for a couple of days then i lost sound from my center speaker and my base box, My two rear speakers and 2 front speakers are working fine but i can't seem to get the center and base to work and all my connections are in the right place, I unplugged and reconnected all my connections aswell as the power connection and now it seems all my speakers are mixed up, I put my wire for my left speaker into the base now and it comes out as the rear right , I done the diagnostics in the creative soundblaster audigy 2 options and done the tests and still no luck, all my speakers are working and i think my setttings are ok. Any suggestions would be great.Im all confused :(

    KHS2005,

Thanks for using the Dell Community Forum.

Were those speakers purchased from Dell?

Hi thanx for the reply, The speakers are actually phillips speakers i bought online around a week ago, They worked fine for a couple of days  and then they just all of a sudden messed up for no reason, People say it could be my soundcard but i have only had my Dell for 3 months and the speaker system i got with my Dell worked fine they were 2.1 speakers the phillips are 5.1, Could that be the case? Thanx
