BIOS update needed?
Hi.
I have had my DELL XPS Desktop for almost a couple of months. Three to four times I have had blue screen at bootup - sometimes followed by a Windows message saying that "Windows recovered from a fatal error".
I also have a DELL Laptop (Latitude 505)- but here I never experienced that kind of fatal problems. The XPS is a wonderful machine but I suspect a BIOS update could be neccessary. Here are the details I could find at bootup:
DELL DXG 051 - Biso Revision Ao9.
Is a BIOS upgrade posibly neccessary ? (I managed to clean out all errors and warnings in the Event Viewer: Application tab as well as System tap. And in daily use the XPS runs just fine!
