How Long To Complete
Ordered a Dimension Desktop on 10/31. It was released to manufacturying today. How long does it take through each step in the manufacturing process? The way I understand the status of my order from the dell site is all necessary pieces are available.
How long have others waited for their systems? I don't find the Dell online status very helpful.

I waited 2 months for an 8100.

I got mine in exactly in one week, then my replacement computer in 3 days.
It could take a while. Lately, I have found shipping to be slow, because they are testing EVERYTHING now.

I ordered my Dimension 8200 on Monday night and received it on Friday (yes, 4 days) about two weeks ago.

The status is updated real time, too. So the phases may take a long time, but at least they tell you about it along the way! ;)
