I am not really sure what is going on. I have a Dell Dimension 8200. About 2 weeks ago I kept getting an error about a fan failure. I admit I kept using the computer for about 2 days before the computer started to go super slow. I decided to buy a new fan for the computer. I put it in and it works fine. I do not get the error anymore but the computer is acting up. It is so slow. I thought about reinstalling Windows XP (which took 7 hours) and now it just turns on and only the background shows up. Before I installed Windows, the desktop would show up but it would take 20 minutes for something to come up after double clicking it. Now that I have reinstalled windows it won't let me do anything!

 

What is going on?
