I'm upgrading the memory in my Dimension 8400 and removing a couple of DDR2 PC2-5400 strips.  I would like to transfer these to my daughter's Dimension E310 to upgrade that machine also.  The E310 specs call for PC2-4200 memory.  Will the PC2-5400 strips function in this machine?  (I know that if they do, they'll only perform at the 4200 rated speed.)
