Squealing heatsink???!!!
I get an intermittent squeal on my 8200 which I originally thought wes a noisy fan. This is getting more frequent and lasting for a longer period of time. Well...after opening my unit up and unplugging the CPU fan - the squeal was still there! I determined that it was coming from the heatsink area and pressed on the top of the heatsink. Lo and behold...THE NOISE STOPPED! Do I have a bad heatsink?
I did a search but did not seem to find anyone else with this problem.

You may want to email support@dell.com and have it replaced if it is makeing all the noise.
