Stop Error - Blue Screen - Error Message Below

On Shut Down or Restart I receive a blue screen with the following stop error message screen:
"A problem has been detected and windows has been shut down to prevent damage to your computer.
If this is the first time you've seen this stop error screen, restart your computer.  If this screen appears again, follow these steps:
Check to be sure you have adequate disk space ( I did, 88% of the resources are free).  If a driver is identified in the stop message, disable the driver or check with the manufacturer for driver updates,  Try changing video adapters.
Check with your hardware vendor for any BIOS updates.  Disable BIOS memory options such as caching or shadowing.  If you need to use safe mode to remove or disable components, restart your computer, press F8 to select advanced start up options, and then select safe mode.

So there it is.  I'm at a total loss.  This is a dell Dimensions desktop 5150, running WinXP home edition SP2.  The only hardware that has been changed was the keyboard.  My husband just had to have a logitect wireless keyboard and mouse.  I've since downloaded the drivers thinking that might be the problem, but no go.
As an aside, he is suddenly no longer able to view all pics on web pages.  He gets that annoying white box with the little red "x" in it.  While I'm sure this has nothing to do with the overall problem, I was hoping that you'd know something about why we can't see pics anymore.

I'd appreciate any help ANY at all, that you could offer.  I don't know if it matters or not, but we're running road runner with their ezArmore security suite, pest patrol and firewall.

Thank you-
Pam
