About 3 years ago, I bought a Dell Inspiron 530. Whilst I no longer use the onboard sound and have replaced the sound card twice, I now want to upgrade the rest of the spec (Gradually!).

The specs are currently as follows:

• Motherboard - PCIE (Model - 0RY007)
  
• Mainboard Chipset - P35/G33/G31
• CPU - Intel Core 2 Duo E4400
• Memory - 2GB DDR2 667mhz
• Graphics - Nvidia GeForce 8600GT (256mb GDDR3)
• PSU - 350w?
• HD - (Also Upgraded) 250gb internal SataII 7200rps
  
• OS - Windows 7 (32bit) - Genuine bought copy I must add! (Not Vista that came with the PC!)
  

My Question is this; What are the best components I could upgrade to on this system?

I know that the mainboard will only support 4GB which means that theoretically, I could go reinstall Windows 7 but opt for the 64bit version.But what is the best graphics card that this motherboard can support currently?

Again, I know that I would have to increase the power supply but again, what is the maximum wattage that I could go for without massively overheating my system?

Is 667mhz the only RAM that I can use or would the motherboard take 800/1200mhz?

As I work on movies in London, I want to upgrade my system so that it can handle heavy graphics rendering but faster than currently.

Finally, Could I upgrade to Quadcore or am I stuck with the Core 2 duo?

Basically, I just want to know the max spec that I could push my system to? (Being that it is only a little inspiron 530 desktop). As a base unit, It has been a great computer but I really would love to mod it somewhat.
