what is http??

help please. I am trying to down load an attacment from mail.

a bad request mess. comes up. "you are using HTTP and can not understand, this site uses a SSL(think it was ssl) I went to internet opt.

then adv. settings and it is set to use SSLs...Help please

Rhonda, would you please give a few details? What system, what version of Windows, what mail program? And please write down the exact error message. It's impossible to search unless you give the error message letter perfect.

btw http stands for : hyper-text transmission protocol
