My dell studio touch pad left button does not function. I switched to the right one and it works. I recently bought a new one (buttons assembly) thinking it was a button issue because when I plug in mouse the left button on mouse works. After installing the new one, I was certain that would fix it but instead same issue (left button does not function). So, presently I am using the right button again. can anyone tell me what else I need to check. Is there something else I might have to release that is controlling the function of the touchpad left button. Again , a wireless mouse works both buttons. It is not a big issue but it is annoying.
