I got my I8500 almost exactly 3 months ago. I soon noticed white-ish spot/area right of center screen. At first I thought it was a smuge. I cleaned my screen and went on. Because of my wallpaper it cant really be seen untill I run a program that gives me a solid color background. I've been using my 8500 more lately and the "spot is still there. Upon closer inspection I see it a distortion in the screen. It perty minor, but it stands out particularly when I have a light background (office XP). What can I do? Will Dell replace it? Have I waited too long? I was going to live with it, but it starting to drive me crazy. Besids I payed good money for my lappy...
