O.K., I admit I was a little rough on the great DELL tech/support staff...  Frustration in the wee hours of the night (mixed with adult beverages) is like the Devil himself !!!!

 

Could anyone please advise me where I can find instructions on clearing the NVRAM on an Inspiron 8600?
