Touchpad Delay - Latitude E6500
I just got a Latitude E6500, and I am trying to navigate around using the touchpad. But it delays by a fraction of a second, which is enough to constantly overshoot the mark on where I want to go. So I'm using a wireless mouse that is much more responsive for now.
My driver is up-to-date, so how can this be fixed?

I've noticed the same issue with the E6500 I just got, as well as the previous D series Latitudes and Precision M4300. My old Inspiron doesn't have this problem and it's just a cheapie low budget laptop. It's surprising to me that a company would miss something this obvious on their expensive lines while the cheap ones are working just fine.
If you find a solution, please post it.
Not only is the E6500 touchpad "delayed" but it seems to delay more as you use then. I've noticed if you nudge the trackpointer (under/between the G and H keys) it will cause the trackpad to come back to life, temporarily.
I've had an E6500 for 9 months and have put off researching or calling Dell this issue. The touchpad on my $300 Dell Mini works great and the touchpad on this $3000 Latitude is so poor that I plug in a mouse instead..... if anyone comes up with a solution please post.

Im using my Bluetooth microsft 5000 mouse and its skippy sometimes when the hdd is crankin'//...
