2709W, Input lag issue? #2

There hasn't been much talk recently on the 2709w's input lag.  There has been the new a02 revision, but that purportedly has no changes in the panel core that affects lag time.  (http://en.community.dell.com/forums/p/19232893/19355879.aspx#19355879).  There has also been inconsistent data on the actual measured lag time.  So I am curious if the lack of recent interest in this topic is evidence that the issue has been mitigated.  I am also curious why Dell hasn't taken a more aggressive approach to resolving this issue, as I could imagine due to the interest in this topic sales could be affected in the realm of 5% (arbitrary).  Thoughts?

The only audio delay I know of is on the A00 version of the S2409W which we fixed in A01. I thought the S2709W was still at A00.

Chris, being that this input lag is the only issue for me, and whether or not it even would bother me is questionable, I'm curious if you can speak for Dell's restocking fee.  If I buy one from dell but find that this input latency is bothersome, will I be punished via a restocking fee?  Or is such a fee usually waived?  Otherwise, I am stuck trying to figure out the factualness of this issue via message boards.

I do not know the policies concerning restocking fees. You should contact Customer Service (800-624-9897) and see what they say.
