Dell flat panel 1703FPT with Dimension 8300 and NVIDIA GeForce4MX440 shows only a brief flicker followed by a black screen while the power button is green.  DVI or D-sub connections have the same results. Monitor also fails the self test with the power button green. Two different analog monitors work just fine on the system. The warranty is expired. Is there anything else to try besides replacement?
