Here are the weird things that I've noticed on my Dell S2716DG (rev A02) monitor (bought it mid-year 2016, built on February 29, 2016.), after running a few test image from the popular eizo and lagom monitor test:

Thin, horizontal lines across the screen, from top to bottom. This thin line doesn't appear on the very top 1.5cm of the monitor. The lines are very visible on the left and center part of the screen. This causes text to appear a little weird (I don't know how to describe this), it's like the text font is not consistent and deformed. Only the right part of the monitor looks ok.

The center-right part of the screen flickers, approx once every second. It's very obvious if a moire pattern is displayed.

Enabling/Disabling G-Sync makes no difference. Lowering refresh rate from 144Hz to 60Hz makes no difference. I even tried different version of GeForce driver (I'm using GTX1070 card on Win10 system). Nope, it doesn't fix anything.

Isolating the DisplayPort (or even my whole PC), I use HDMI to connect a video player and the monitor. Nope. It's still the same. So it's not my computer or DP/HDMI issue. It's the monitor itself going crazy.

The monitor warranty will end soon on July this year. When checked in Dell website, the warranty status says: "Advance Exchange - Next Business Day (8x5), Limited telephone technical phone support". What is 8x5? S2716DG is no longer listed my country's (Malaysia) Dell sales webpage. How will Dell exchange my unit on next business day if there's no stock locally? Or will I get a similar replacement for what I've paid previously?

Extra info: Found this defect on Sunday (May 19th, 2019). Tried to do a webchat on Monday (May 20th) but failed because it's public holiday here.
