I got the monitor today, and the resolution should be able to be 2560 x 1440, but I am only getting 1920 x 1080.

Now I have another monitor, Dell 3014, which is giving me 2560 x 1600.

Now I don't know much about the NVDIA settings, but I was able to create a Custom resolution of 2560 x 1440, but the text lacks sharpness.

However I thought it would have gone automatically to the highest possible resolution, but that is not given as an option.

I am assuming the system can handle it since the Dell 3014 has 2560 x 1600 without any issues. Any advice what I can do to resolve this issue?
