I need to replace the 17 lcd monitor I purchased with my dimension 4600 3+ years ago as it failed last evening.  It is a dell E171FPb.  The original invoice says I have 'integrated intel extreme graphics 2' which I assume is the graphics card.  Am I safe to purchase a widescreen lcd given that is mostly what I can find?  I'm trying to avoid distortion/stretching issues.
