Is it possible to have a master server perform the clone operation of an NDMP backup? We are doing NDMP backups of our NAS head via networker 7.2.2, and currently have only one tape drive dedicated to the NAS device. If possible, we would like to have the master server perform the clone operation rather then add another tape device to the NAS, so that it may successfully clone to an offsite tape pool. When I add the master server to the Clone Storage Node field in the client resource the clone job fails. My assumption is that this is not supported. Can anyone verify? Thanks.
