Networker 7.6.1 Server Requirements for AIX 5.3
We´ve a Nw 7.6.1 Server , in a LPAR ,with 6 GB RAM , 4 X 1.65 Ghz processors assigned , and 300+ clients.
There´s any rule to see if the memory and CPU power are correct to maintain the 300+ clients backups running OK ?.
Any document to calculate the requirements ?
We see some memory swapping in the Svr.

Hi,
The NetWorker Performance Optimisation Guide is what you'll need for this. The latest one is for 7.6.2 but it applies to all NetWorker versions:

Look for the section 'Size Your NetWorker Environment' which will, unfortunately, confirm for you that you don't have sufficient resources for the size of your environment.
