Adding a network card.

Can I add an internal PCI network card to a customers Optiplex GX270? It has an on-board network adapter already.

Any help would be greatly appreciates.

I don't see why you wouldn't be able to add the PCI card.

I would agree. Unfortunately, I'm not completely familiar with the BIOS settings but in most systems you are able to turn off onboard devices including NICs.

You should be right without disabling the onboard nic. I have multiple nics in my pc with no conflicts.
