I have an Inspiron 8600 and have a strong signal to my router but both the wireless and ethernet cable symbols show limited or no connectivity.  I have power cycled through and my work computer is working just fine.  I did the ipconfig thing and could not get new IP addresses.

When I first logon, I get an error message about and svchost not working?  I also heard from someone about something to do with WINSOCK? 

Has anyone been able to fix a problem like this?
