I have not been able to to dial up since 5/11.  My new 8300 restarted on it's own and My Conextant V.92 modem gives me a 633 error message that the port it is attached to cannot be opened because it is being used by another application.

When I used the modem restore disk it uninstalled it but couldn't reinstall it.  I got it back by going back a day and Dell sent me a different disk.  But I am still getting the same error.  Plus device manager says modem is working properly, fax says there is no modem.

I have talked to at least 5 techs from India and my ISP.  It has been 10 days. Please, can anyone help me.  I have tried everything.
