I lost all of my Local and Internet Icons, I even lost the Network Places. I can still connect to the internet but cannot connect with my desktop from my laptop, I can connect to my laptop from my desktop so the problem has to be in the laptop. The laptop is an Inspiron 9100 with a Dell Wirless LAN 1350. I am on a Linksys wireless router and my desktop is a Dimension 8200 and has a Linksys wireless adapter. Any suggestions on why I lost my connection from the laptop to the desktop after using it for almost 2 years???
