I have a SFF 7010. I want to increase the wattage of the PSU by replacing it with a 3rd party unit. Ignoring the physical size and shape of the PSU and fitting it into the case, are there any issues with doing this from a proprietary connectors or motherboard recognition standpoint? In other words, is the stock optiplex PSU proprietary ONLY in its physical shape or are there other considerations in terms of PSU compatibility with the motherboard?
