Interesting issue that I cant seem to solve.

 

I ahve a PE 2850. It has an IDE CDrom and 3 x72 GB drives. The drives and server used to have Win2k on them. I used the raid controller setup to wipe the drives then attempted to boot with the server assistant CD (ver 8.4) and I get the no boot media found press F1 message. I then tried to boot direct with an ESX CD (also linux based) no dice. I put a standard windows 2003 CD in there and hit F1 again and bamm....  it boots.

 

Power off and back on put in ANY linux based boot CD (including the DSA) and she wont boot. But put in windows server CD and she boots.

 

Any ideas?
