Last week after a power outage, my server 5 year old Poweredge, would not power on.  After replacing two power supplies, I sent it out for an expert to look at.

I was told the main board was dead and would have to be replaced.  On a whim, I plugged it in and it miraculously power up and has been running since.

I have never seen this before and was curious if anyone has seen this and what caused it?
