I have a poweredge 2800 that has just started randomly shutting down. It has been doing it for a couple of weeks. I have redundant power supplys pluged into two separate battery backups on two different circuts. When it first started I thought the battery was going bad or over loaded so I got another one and it is still happening. When I came in this am the machine was off the power supplies both had green lights but there was an orange light on the back that was flashing (near an "I" button). When I pushed it it went blue. I'm running sbs 2003 Is there a log or somewhere I can start looking to trouble shoot the problem? I have opened the dell software and everything looks normal after a restart(all I had to do was push the power button). I just reseated the memory, the fans, and the riser board........what next?
