Turned out it was bad CPU, specifically the memory controller. I got it to work by only populating certain ram slots NOT following the order in the manual. In my case, only filling slots to the left of the CPU (i.e A3,A4,A7,A8,A11,A12, and same numbers for B)
Ultimately just replaced the CPUs with dual E5-2696v4 and they work great so far and all the ram slots work
so I tried each of the E5-2697v4 in a single cpu configuration, and it still wont boot. But this time it gets stuck on "configuring memory"
I also tried using a single stick of ram in the A1 slot with no change to results.
Still cant get it to post. Will try to put a single E5-2630v3 back in and check again to make sure everything is updated i guess. Pretty sure everything relevant was updated beforehand tho
Have you figured out your issue? We are doing the same thing but with the 2695v4 and it starts loading windows for about a minute and then blue screen of death.
