max harddrive size for precision 390
I have a spare Seagate SSHD ST2000DX001 (2 Tb size with a 8gb ssd "buffer") and I wonder if I can use it in this precision 390.
I tried to hook up the drive but bios do not recognize it.
Installed bios version is 2.6 (last one I think).
I managed to install a 250Gb instead (originally I have 2x WD 140 Gb drives, which I maintained) with W10 on it (so far it is stable) but the extra 2Tb would be nice to have (as a secondary drive for data or, i would prefer that, as a boot drive since this is comparatively faster than the 250Gb drive.
Any experience with that? Any opinion or experience result would be welcome (even just to say me I am wasting my time tryning something impossible ).
Thanks
