Precision 3630 - PSU Upgrade
Our IT vendor made a mistake and ordered the base config on the 3630 Tower
It had the base Radeon GPU along with the 300W PSU
They have now provided the correct GPU as per our order/payment (RTX 4000) however they did not realize the need for the PSU upgrade from the 300W to 460W.
As such there is, of course, not enough throughput to drive the components, but even more obvious to the Dell experts on here, there are no 6-pin cables there in the first place to actually connect the RTX.
(300 PSU only has the 24-pin and SATA cables wired to the box)
This is a single GPU setup so the 460W should be ample as per the Dell configurator and manuals.
Can someone please specify the correct Dell Part number for the 460W PSU so we can guide them to source the replacement from dell partners?
They will be bearing the cost of replacement so Dell OEM PSU would be the desired way to go, since we can.
Thank you
