Precision 7865 freezes on logo screen when SSD is present
I am using a Precision 7865 desktop, and attempting to install a Samsung PM1735 SSD for extra storage.
When the SSD is present, the workstation gets stuck on the Dell logo screen on booting and can't start.
The SSD is recognised in the BIOS settings, secure boot is disabled.
I have tried running diagnostics but this also leads me to the dell logo screen, where everything freezes.
Any help would be very appreciated.
This has still not been resolved. We have since then also tried an intel P5520 U2 SSD on a PCIe adapter and the same problem was present.
Both SSD's work in other Dell products, so we are convinced that the issue is with the workstation rather than the SSD's.
