It was fine yesterday but today it won't come to life when I try to switch it on. There are no lights on the housing/motherboard at all.
I've done the Power Supply Self Test and it seems to be OK (The green light comes on at the back and all of the fans come on.) I've also tried changing the battery and doing a hard reset which hasn't helped.

I have a 5810 Precision tower. When I try to power it on, I see the following pattern: amber light flashing 7 times - pause - amber light flashes 2 twice. The machine never boots. I have changed the CMOS battery to no avail. PLEASE HELP!!!
@justin.jeremie - Precision 5810 doesn't have an amber 7-2 blink code listed, but it has an amber 2-7 blink code.
2-7 is a memory issue: Memory modules are detected, but a memory power failure has occurred. If two or more memory modules are installed, remove the modules, then reinstall one module and restart the computer. If the computer starts normally, continue to install additional memory modules (one at a time) until you have identified a faulty module or reinstalled all modules without error.
