I would like to seek advice on an issue I'm having with my T7600.

I have to re-install my OS because it was corrupted. Long story shortened (drive not detected etc), I resorted to remove the PERC card following the recommendation made on this post and I managed to re-install a fresh copy of OS (Win 7 64-bit). Primary hard disk (SATA) was formatted on a different machine; unpartitioned.

However, as I plugged back in my second HD (SATA; hot swappable bay 1/2/3), it was not detected by the machine. OS failed to reboot as well. If I remove the second HD, things work just fine.The connection from Bay 0-3 is bundled to one connector on the mobo (default).

My predicament is I need this second HD to be available in the system because all my data is in this drive. I used a spare SATA cable available on the machine (IMO, it is reserved for optical drive/5.25" bay) to plug in my Second HD & it worked like a charm. However, I know this is not safe as it doesn't have cooling fan for the HD.

Please advise on how I can get second HD to work in Bay 1/2/3.
