Cartridges are refillable!!!
I have refilled the black ink cartridge in my A940!!! It was insanely easy!!! There were NO problems and I have been printing now for several weeks. Print quality seems BETTER with the refill ink than with the ink that originally came with the printer!!! Havent tried the color yet, but if its anything like the black it should be a breeze!!!
Final cost $15+s/h for a kit that included enough ink for ~4 refills! Bulk ink without the "kit" cost me another $12 for enough ink for ~12 refills... ROUGHLY $1 a refill!!!!

WHERE DO YOU FIND THE SMALL PIN HOLE TO INSERT THE INK? PLEASE LET ME KNOW CAUSE I DID IT ON MY OLD PRINTER BUT I COULD NOT FIND A SPOT TO REFILL IT IN MY A940 PRINTER FRANCINE

here is a link to their refill kit which comes with everything you need to refill the cartridge 4 times (website says refills it 3 times but I got a little more than FOUR REFILLS!!!) http://atlascopy.com/refills/atlasbrand/lex5.htm
try the premium ultra black ink; that looks much much better than the Dell ink!!! see it here http://atlascopy.com/refills/bulklexmark.htm .... YOu need item LX7000UB (midway on the page) Its Identical to the Lexmark printer; i have bought and used this ink and it is GREAT in the Dell printer (the dell A940 is really a lexmark anyway)
