Dell 2335dn Scan Manager Opening PDF Documents

We just bought a 2335dn for scanning files to a folder on our server, it works great (except for the horrible menu interface). We do have a problem that after each scan it opens the scanned document on the server which we do not want. We want other people on the network to have access to move/rename these created PDF documents. I checked the Scan Manager software and I can not find any options to not open scanned documents. Does anybody have any ideas?

    Never mind my post.

    After looking at the Scan Manager I found that under the directory you place it in, ( Save location) if you click on the browse button and open the dialog page you will find on the bottom a check box that allows you to either open the document after ( I think the default) or not.

    Uncheck the open after document after scanning and you should be good!

    If its a network setup.. what you can do install the scanner software for each user and give them there on username so that way they can scan docs, move, and rename.

    I'm having the same issue. I don't really want to install the scan manager on each desktop. There is no way to set the scan manager from opening the documents? I would like for people to rename and move these files as they see fit.

    Was there ever resolution on this issue?  I have a similar situation that when a user scans to a destination (network share) it brings up the folder when complete.  I have 8 different share destinations and all exhibit the same behavior.  Initiating 3 scan jobs to the same destination opens 3 instances of the same folder.  Deleting a Destination and recreating does not help.  The network shares are on a Windows Server 2003 box, Scan Manager runs on that same box.  Firmware is up to date. Show Preview Box is unchecked, Open the scanned image after scanning is also unchecked.
