After Windows 8 upgrade I get  Enable bi-directional support if I try to check status of printer.

If I tick the box for the printers port and save when I look again it's not ticked.

Laptop is a Dell Inspiron N5050.

Bios was updated to A05 before windows 8 upgrade.

 

Any ideas ?
