MY COMPUTERS CAN'T SHARE A PRINTER
My computers are Dimension 8400 which has Window XP, and the printer is NEW Dell 922 All-In-One Photo
Printer which has USB line. I used router(Linksys) to make sharing the printer and internet. But they can share
Internet perfectly, but not printer part. They even can share documents each other, but why the printer doesn't
shared? No one can make share NEW Dell 922 All-In-One Photo Printer or just I don't know how to make them
share. Even my old printer can be shared but not this new one.
- I am having a similar problem. My base computer is a Dell Dimension, the laptop a Dell Presario, wireless router Siemens, and my printer is a Dell all on one. Up until 2 weeks ago I could print from the laptop and now I get a message that the print spooler service is not working. The base is also not recognizing the laptop. Any suggestions? Ireally don't know what to do and I'm very frustrated.

It "should" be able to be shared just like your old one....
I got mine shared on the network by installing onto the PC that connects via the USB, then after cofirming everything work from that machine, I went to Start > Printers & Faxes, right clicked the icon for the printer I had just installed, and told it to share. ....then had to install the new driver on the other PCs in the house so they could talk to the new printer.
